In the midst of the trend towards faster data, quicker information dissemination, higher resolution, and swifter solutions, ambiguity is being pushed beyond the norm. Within this current, Yongwon brings both the printed and reflected aspects of nature, the most neutral yet valuable entity. This ambiguity functions as an antidote to the fatigue and emptiness caused by immediacy. Feeling disillusioned by the extreme pace of the modern world, the artist praises the latency that emerges between perception and judgment.
